Young Life: High School

We desire for young people to live abundantly. In Young Life we believe this means being respected, feeling safe, having almost too much fun, and discovering who you are and what you are made for. We dare to enter the world of teenagers to invite them into the adventure of a lifetime–an adventure that begins with the simple act of knowing them by name.

OUR COMMITMENT
No matter where high school kids live–in small towns, suburbs, big cities or countries abroad–Young Life’s commitment is steadfast. We accept them as they are, harbor no expectations and seek to understand their world. We offer them fun, adventure, hope, guidance for the future and lasting friendships. Our agenda is no agenda. We hope to journey alongside teens as caring adults who provide them the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and love them no matter their response.
earning the right
Believing in the power of being heard, we enter into the lives of young people ready to listen. We believe that friendship is the ultimate platform from which to be heard, so we commit to developing positive, lasting relationships with young people to provide just that. Only then do we ask for them to hear what we have to say. In Young Life that is what we call "earning the right to be heard," and it is how we engage young people to hear what we believe is the greatest Love Story ever told.
the basics
During the school-year we host a monthly event for students to experience crazy fun, get to know other students, and hear a simple  Gospel message. We call these events "club." In between the club events are weekly small group   gatherings called "campaigners," where peers meet together with their leader to share a meal and have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Gospel. So, what happens after school is out for year? Summer camp! See HERE for info.
